A LETTER FROM THE PRINCIPAL

I have been a part of the CJCR/ICCRS community for seven years as an Assistant Principal. It is a humbling experience for me to have been appointed to Principal this past June. I walk in the steps of some fine administrators and highly qualified educators. The teachers at ICCR are amongst the finest I have ever had the opportunity to know. They are hard-working, caring, and dedicated to their profession and to the students they teach. I hope I can live up to the faith that Father Brassard and the Board of Immaculate Conception Catholic Regional School has put in me.
This is an exciting time for our school. We embark on an historical period in the school’s history and we do so cautiously and carefully. Consulting others with expertise that goes beyond ours will become the mantra of our success. It is the intention of this administration to seek assistance from all stakeholders in the school community. A school is enriched by the knowledge everyone brings to the table. It is not run by an individual or by a committee but by everyone invested in its future.
Working together is imperative for the school’s success. Students, parents, teachers, administration, the School Board, Father Brassard, the entire community are anxious and excited to get the 2009-2010 school year under way. We’re ready, we’re prepared and we’re looking forward to one of the best year’s CJCR/ICCR school will ever experience. Join us in making our school the beacon of light for the future. May God bless us and lead us into a spiritual and successful future.
